A cylindrical tank filled with water is kept outside a building in such a way that all the surfaces are exposed to air stream velocity of 50km/hr with air temperature of 15C. The water tank is exposed to a heat source which raises the temperature of the water to 60C and then the heat source is shut off. Find the temperature of the tank after 30 minute period. Assume the tank surface temperature same as water temperature and the heat transfer coefficients be same on all the surfaces of the tank. Take diameter of the tank to be 30cm and length of the tank to be 100 cm. Use the following property values, rho=1000 kg/m3, cp=4186 J/kg K, k=0.02735 W/m C, ν=1.798X10−5 m2/s, Pr=0.7228.
