A.) When an electric current is passed through a conductor, it generates heat due to the hindrance caused by the conductor to the flowing current. The work done in overcoming the hindrance to the current generates heat in that conductor.

B.) The magnetic effect of electric current is known as electromagnetic effect. It is observed that when a compass is brought near a current carrying conductor the needle of compass gets deflected because of flow of electricity. This shows that electric current produces a magnetic effect

C.) An electric fuse is an electric device which interrupts the flow of current in an electric circuit. It is installed in a circuit to stop the flow of excessive current. A fuse is usually a short piece of wire. Normally an alloy of tin and lead is used as the fuse wire, as it has high resistivity and low melting point.

D.) the act or process or an instance of transpiring especially : the passage of watery vapor from a living body (as of a plant) through a membrane or pores.

E.) An electromagnet is a type of magnet in which the magnetic field is produced by an electric current. Electromagnets usually consist of wire wound into a coil. A current through the wire creates a magnetic field which is concentrated in the hole, denoting the centre of the coil.
