Follow these steps to map the magnetic field: Place the magnet on the paper so it’s in the center and its poles are facing left and right. Trace an outline around the magnet so that you can move it back to its position if it’s accidentally moved. Label the poles N and S on the paper.
Mark 20 points randomly around the magnet. Be sure they’re spread out. Here is one possible arrangement.
Center the compass over a point and allow the needle to settle.
On the paper, draw an arrow pointing in the north direction indicated by the needle of the compass. Use the solid point you selected as the tail of the arrow.
Move the compass, and center it over the new arrowhead you just created. Again draw an arrow pointing north as indicated by the compass.
Repeat this process until you have mapped an entire magnetic line of force that runs from the north pole to the south pole. You might need to move forward and backward along a line to see the entire pattern.
Next, move to the other random points on your paper and repeat the process. This will give you multiple lines of force.
Draw lines around the magnet that follow the direction of the arrows.
In the space provided, draw the map of your magnetic field as it appears on your paper.

Can somebody plz tell me like what this means I don't understand it at all

Amachinist turns the power on to a grinding wheel, at rest, at time t = 0 s. the wheel accelerates uniformly for 10 s and reaches the operating angular velocity of 96 rad/s. the wheel is run at that angular velocity for 40 s and then power is shut off. the wheel slows down uniformly at 1.5 rad/s2 until the wheel stops. in this situation, the time interval of deceleration is closest to:
