I am confused on these two questions, can someone pls help? 1) Why does energy lost to friction not break the laws of physics?
a) it does break the law, physicists still can't figure this out
b) more energy is created by the movement so that there is no get gain or loss
c) the kinetic energy is turned to thermal energy and is not lost but transferred
d) the friction takes the kinetic energy and transfers it to potential

2) Match the example with the correct type of energy (potential or kinetic)
a) A rock sitting on a ledge
b) a stretched rubber band
c) a car at rest with a full tank of gas
d) a car in motion with a full tank of gas
