The air is in a piston-cylinder. A shaft and an electric wire are able to do work on the air too. Now for a given time interval, the shaft did 10 kJ mechanical work on the air, the electric wire did 5 kJ work on the air, and 2 kJ of heat is transferred out from the air. The total internal energy of the air increased 8 kJ in the same time interval. What is the work done by the air to the piston in kJ
