When comparing two circuits, you note that circuit one has twice the resistance and half the voltage of circuit two. this means that both circuits will have the same current. both circuits will have alternating current. circuit two will have more current. circuit one will have more current.?

For the most simple AC circuits (ones without diodes, etc.), Ohm's law applies.
Ohm's law states that:

Potential Difference = Current x Resistance

This means:
V = IR

Rearranging this, we get:
I = V/R

So, when V is halved and R is doubled, the fraction gets smaller, and so the current also gets smaller.

This means that Circuit 1 has a smaller current flowing through than Circuit 2
