Why do so many deadly natural disasters occur in china and southeast asia? these regions' latitude and longitude is especially prone to cyclones. it's a coincidence. disasters in other parts of the world are underreported. disasters in these areas are more likely to be deadly due to dense populations and poor infrastructure.
