Motivation is the desire to achieve a goal or a certain performance level leading to a goal - directed behavior. When a person is motivated it mean that he or she has the desire to accomplish something. It is important specially in the work environment where your performance is being measured. The performance of a person is determined by the persons' ability, his work environment and his motivation.
