An uncharged capacitor and a resistor are connected in series to the battery as shown in the figure below, where V0 = 12 V, C = 5 µF and R = 800kΩ. Find the time constant of this circuit, the maximum charge on the capacitor, the maximum current in the circuit and the maximum energy stored in the capacitor.
