What happens to the other side of the world during a solar eclipse? During a solar eclipse, the moon covers the sun, creating a shadow onto the earth, right? Well during that event, both the sun and the moon are in the same side of the earth. So what happens to the other side? It's supposed to be night time there but there's no moon?
