A spring that is hung from the ceiling stretches 0.335m when a 0.173kg mass is hung from it. The spring is taken down and laid horizontal on a frictionless table and attached by its free end to a rigid wall. With the same mass attached, the spring is then compressed by 0.793m from its rest length and released. Determine the maximum velocity of the mass in this horizontal configuration.
