Water is being fired at 20 m/s from a hose of 80 mm diameter into the atmosphere. The water leaves the hose through a nozzle with a diameter of 25 mm at its exit.
Using the combination of continuity, momentum and Bernoulli's equations, find
the pressure just upstream of the nozzle and the force on the nozzle. [10 marks]
