(the original answer choices for this question said answer choice A again in answer choice C so i changed it a bit to what its supposed to be)
(also if you say aint for test and/or quiz questions, it is made to help others with ANY question in school work, i looked it up, so it does allow test and quiz questions but only if they are separated... also im not doing the entire test on cause that would be 25 questions in all and i have 1390 points left... i don't know how i got so many points originally i just did)

During spring semester at mit, residents of the parallel buildings of the east campus dorms battle one another with large catapults that are made with surgical hose mounted on a window frame. a balloon filled with dyed water is placed in a pouch attached to the hose, which is then stretched through the width of the room. assume that the stretching of the hose obeys hooke's law with a spring constant of 89.0 n/m. if the hose is stretched by 5.80 m and then released, how much work does the force from the hose do on the balloon in the pouch by the time the hose reaches its relaxed length? unitst 3 number-1497 the tolerance is +/-5% open show work click if you would like to show work for this question:

Consider a double atwood machine constructed as follows: a mass 4m is suspended from a string that passes over a massless pulley on frictionless bearings. the other end of this string supports a second similar pulley, over which passes a second string supporting a mass of 3m at one end and m at the other. using two suitable generalized coordinates, set up the lagrangian and use the lagrange equations to find the acceleration of the mass 4m when the system is released. explain why the top pulley rotates even though it carries equal weights on each side.
