The processes and mechanisms that drive the water cycle are the same processes that helped form the oceans long ago. When Earth first formed, it was extremely hot. But as it began to cool, so did the water vapor in its atmosphere. Which processes in the water cycle are most likely responsible for turning the gaseous water vapor in the atmosphere into liquid water that eventually reached Earth’s surface? HELP!
