If start at one on the track, and run around in a circle back to the same spot, what happens to your distance and displacement? The distance would be greater than the displacement. The distance would be greater than the non-zero displacement. The distance travelled would be greater than 0, and displacement would be 0. Both distance and displacement would be the same.
