Håkan has bought new speakers that he will install in his living room, which is square with a side of 4.5 m (see figure). Håkan thinks that if he buys four speakers and puts one in each corner, he gets good sound everywhere in the living room.
To test his thinking, Håkan sets up the speakers and connects all four to his amplifier. He then sets a tone with the frequency 200 Hz that plays in phase. Then Håkan walks along one of the stretched lines in the figure.
