In flocabulary The liquid mantle is constantly churning in movements called convection currents. Convection is a method of heat transfer in which hot liquid rises and cooler liquid sinks in a continuous cycle. The large pieces of Earth’s crust are always moving above the mantle. People cannot feel these movements because they are very slow. They move at about the speed that fingernails grow, or a couple of inches per year. Over long periods of time, convection currents create cracks in the Earth’s tectonic plates. These cracks are called faults. witch one is correct
A it is solid and does not move
B It moves quickly and unpredictably.
C It moves in very slow currents
D It can suddenly cause huge fault lines

Assume you measured the mass of the cart to be (500 ± 1) g and the mass of the additional mass you put on the cart to be (500 ± 1) g as well. since the scale you are using in the lab cannot measure objects heavier than 600g you will have to sum up individual pieces and propagate the error. so what would be the mass and the standard error of the cart and the mass

Aparticle of mass m is placed in a one-dimensional box of length l. the box is so small that the particle’s motion is relativistic, so that e p2/2m is not valid. (a) derive an expression for the energy levels of the particle using the relativistic energy–momentum relation and the quantization of momentum that derives from connement. (b) if the particle is an electron in a box of length l 1.00 1012 m, nd its lowest possible kinetic energy. by what percent is the nonrelativistic formula for the energy in error?
