In a ballistic pendulum setup designed to find the muzzle velocity of a bullet, the bullet is fired at point blank range into a block and the system moves through a vertical height before coming to rest. For this experiment, take the mass of the bullet to be 0.100 kg and the mass of the block to be 4.9 kg. When the bullet is fired and embeds in the block, together they rise through a vertical height of 0.50 meters. Required:
a. Find the speed of the block/bullet system immediately after impact.
b. Find the initial speed of the bullet.
