A monkey escapes from a zoo but is quickly tracked down by one of the zookeepers. The monkey is sitting on a 5.00 m high light pole. The zookeeper stops and kneels down 10.0 m away from the monkey so she
can shoot it with a tranquilizer dart. After aiming at the monkey the tip of the barrel is 1.00 m off the
ground and the angle of the gun is 21.8° above the ground. The monkey is smart and tries to trick the
zookeeper by dropping a banana the instant the zookeeper shoots, while staying on the light pole. If the
tranq gun shoots at 50.0 m/s will the dart hit the monkey, the banana, or neither one? Justify your answer.
