Aspace craft is moving towards mars. it's rocket engines are turned off. as the spacecraft nears mars, what will hapen to the pull of the planet's gravity?

Well nothing will happen to the planet's gravity but the space craft will be pulled by the gravity to gain more speed due to the gravity.

I feel the space craft isn’t smaller than the planet will orbit the space craft, but if the space craft is smaller than the planet the space craft will orbit the planet
