Name the three types of rna and list their roles in making proteins

1. messenger rna (mrna): it is formed as a result of transcription of dna and contains the code for amino acids which will form part of protein. thus, this is the most crucial rna and contains protein code
2. transfer rna: this is involved in bringing the correct  amino acids to ribosomes where they attach in the growing peptide chain
3. ribosomoal rna: they form an integral part of small and large subunit of ribosomes, organelles at which protein synthesis takes place.
