Three examples of telescopes that detect different types of electromagnetic radiation

Three examples of telescopes that detect different types of electromagnetic radiation are : X-Ray Telescope, Radio Telescope &, Optical Telescope. Each is capable to detect different electromagnetic radiation. 

X-Ray Telescope is consist of optics which collects the radiation entering the telescope, and the detector,where the radiation is collected and measured.

Radio Telescope studies the radio frequency part of  the electromagnetic  spectrum which is emitted by astronomical objects.

Optical Telescope gathers and focuses light, mainly from the visible part of the electromagnetic spectrum.
