Using information about natural laws, explain why some car crashes produce minor injuries and others produce catastrophic injuries.

The extent of the damage of the crash is due to the law of inertia, the faster the two cars are moving and taking into consideration of their masses the more the greater the inertia and therefor the impulse generated the greater the chance for a bigger injury.

I'm having some difficulty seeing the diagram clearly.but the question says there's a net inward force on the object.so we know right away,  from newton's 2nd law of motion, thatthat baby is accelerating.  it doesn't even matter which way thenet force is pointing.  if there's any net force, then either theobject's speed or else its direction must be changing.

Not sure but i think it's b.
