When I was only 10 my grandma passed away from cancer. I never really had the time to open up to her and express myself and get a bond with her, but there is the good memories I do remember, she was a good person she loved to cook an help me and my siblings out with projects and she will teach use how to cook and do creative things. I wish everyday I had got to do more things with her before she died. When I was little I always thought I will grow up and my grandma will always be by my side and she will never leave me until I found out that people do leave but not for good. One day when I had found out she had cancer I asked her were will she go when she passes and will I ever see her again and then she told me I want leave for good I will still be in your heart so don't ever forget me she said. So when I hit 12 I decided to make a poem and it goes like this "As I was little you taught me riddles and I would giggle you were there to here my cries and you taught how to ride a bike as I got older you told me things I will remember until I die I guess god said it was your time to die cancer is the manster of life I wish you would not have died my lil star in the night sky." I still remember when she took me on my first camping and fishing trip it was fun me and her caught 6 fish together and before I went to bed she will read me a book and I will close my eyes and dream of butterfly
