Type of change that doesn't involve the formation of a new kind of matter

I believe this is physical change.

Physical change does not require an object to change to a different matter or substance. It simply alters the physical form of an object. For example, ice (or frozen water) undergoes physical change when it melts, it only turns into liquid water. It will ONLY change state, and remain the same substance/matter.
