The Stroop effect is a phenomenon that happens when you should state the color of a word yet not the name of the word. For instance, blue may be imprinted in red and you should state the color as opposed to the word.  

Selective attention is the way toward concentrating on a specific question in nature for a specific time frame. Attention is a restricted asset, so specific consideration enables us to block out irrelevant points of interest and spotlight on what truly matters.
