How did the 13th, 14th, 15th, 19th, 24th, 26th amendments impact minority participation in the political process?

These amendments give people the right to vote regardless of their age, race, sex or political beliefs.  Under the law, their rights are protected and they are free to do what they want within the law.  No one can prevent them from voting as long as they 18 years old and are citizens of the United States of America.
