Why did the american people have to raise one hundred thousand dollars?

Assuming 250,000,000 voters, the government would have printed 25 trillion dollars and put it into circulation virtually overnight.

Econ 101 predicts massive inflation… think Venezuela.

Anybody on anything even resembling a fixed income is totally screwed: as in homeless and facing starvation.

Everybody else is “just” massively screwed (savings wiped out, daily expenses like food/clothing out of sight) until the economy adjusts and the dollar amount of their pay is increased.

But the purchasing power of most people’s pay will never recover to quite what it was and there will have been yet another massive transfer of wealth to the top few percent.
