The Aztec Empire was one of the most prominent in prehispanic history(15th. and 16th. centuries). Located in Tenochtitlan -nowadays known as Mexico City- the Aztec Empire was the dominant force in Mesoamerica territory(southern Mexico until Central America).

The Aztecs were known as a true warriors but its pieces of art are considered a jewel for scientist and explorers. With influences of Olmec and Toltec cultures, Aztec art is displayed in pottery, sculpture, painting, monuments, architecture and big buildings like pyramids.

Great examples from the beauty of Aztec art includes the world famous Aztec Calendar, a big rock where we can find the solar cycles among other important information and the Tlaloc monument -known as the God of Rain- who is exhibited in Reforma Avenue in Mexico City.

A considerable amount of important pieces of Aztec art are exhibited in the Anthropology museum in Mexico City. i disagree that there is little difference between adult female development and adult male development. sociological studies comparing female and male pathways to adulthood, revelead that there are sustancial differences between them. particularly, female and male differ from timing of marriage, when they began to live with children and the likelihood of combining wife/husband and parent roles.
