The Freedmen's Bureau was a federal organization meant to assist African Americans by working to ensure they were being treated as equal to white people.

The Ku Klux Klan is a white supremacist, terrorist group, that often tortured and killed African Americans for fun (yeah, you read that right. they killed people for fun), and also to scare African Americans into once again becoming subservient to whites.

He was probably very upset and disapointed and mad. all at once. so he probably wanted to show his disapointment, angryness, and depression. he didn't think of the affects due to the minor issue thst he has gone through. sorry if it doesn't . but i am trynna people.
