Republic is a word driven from Latin, means res publica. Republic is basically a form of Government in which the country or the state is considered a public property. A form of government that has people’s involvement in it.  In a republic state, the powers are not inherited but are attained through democracy. People choose their representative by voting and give him powers to deliver their needs demands thoughts views, everything, to the supreme power of the state. The answer to this question is ‘A’, citizens elect people to represent them in government. There are many republic states in the world. Some of them are Pakistan, India, China, Sudan, Iran, Somalia, Iraq, Turkey, North Korea, etc etc.
