The Star-Spangled banner is important because it is the national anthem of the United States of America. Originally intended to be a poem, the lines (and eventually the lyrics) of the song were written on September 14th, 1814 by a lawyer in his mid-thirties, Francis Scott Key.

nowadays, 93% of the arab population is muslim, which at the same time is subdivided in sects including the sunni, zaini, alawi, shia. the remaining 7% is composed mainly of christians.
