Nixon was a famous lawsuit filed in the United States Supreme Court between the United States and then-reelected US President Richard Nixon in 1974 who, charged with involvement in a criminal action against the opposition party's office during the presidential campaign of 1972, argued in court that he was not obliged to present evidence that would incriminate him, by virtue of the prerogative of his position.
