So different types of maps are used to get information about different things like Political maps are used to get information about the countries, regions or areas' boundaries. Physical maps are used to find out the physical features of a country or land like rivers, mountains, etc. Climatic Maps show regions with respect to climates, Road maps show the road sides or road ways to reach from one place to another. Similarly resource maps show lands with respect to the resources they contain.
