Object Permanence is applied to explain a child's capacity to know objects proceed to remain even though they can no longer be seen or heard. This is developmental psychology, that examines the improvement of young children's social and mental capabilities. Jean Piaget, was first to study object permanence in children, explained that it is a child's most significant achievements, without this theory, objects would have no difference. Peek-a-boo is one of an example of an object permanence test.
