The premise
a seminar was in progress on the topic of “employment challenges in developing economies”. academicians, experts from the industry and students of different universities were present. while sharing his thoughts, one expert said that “developing countries like pakistan which are recovering from the lethal wave of terrorism, the economy is most likely to be full of suspicions. we are focusing on problems like coalition-based inexperienced government, power tussle among the institutions, political unrest, weak foreign policy, corruption on various levels, strict loan terms of imf, fear of being labeled as blacklist by fatf (financial action task force), rising interest rates, doubled figured inflation rates, etc. all of these problems are creating further unrest among the public and private institutions, among the masses and especially among the skilled youth who are about to enter the job market.”
another expert said that “educated youth is losing their faith in their government’s ability to provide new jobs in this uncertain situation. the majority of the fresh graduates and existing workforce expect worst to come and majority of them are in the state of continuous stress in the later stages of their education.”
in the concluding remarks by the chief guest articulate, “experts in this seminar have highlighted many realistic challenges that the students are about to face in the job market. they must be aware of the challenging yet bitter situations so that they may make up their mind and be prepared for what they are about to face.” he further added that things were never ideal in any era and we believe that the current challenging times on the economy of the country will soon pass and an era of development and progress will soon be upon us with fewer challenges for the job market. he further advised students and teachers to be optimistic and spread optimism, take every problem is an opportunity and enter the job market with a positive attitude with faith and believe in allah and then their skills and education.
