How did the oligarchs of ancient greece rule?

Oligarchy is the system of Greek government where a group of individuals rule the country.

EXPLANATION:

There were four main system of Greek government and Oligarchy was one of them. Oligarchy came in 400 and gained power in 411 BCE in  Athens. For Greeks, any system that is either not tyranny or monarchy was considered as oligarchy.
