President pass the comprehensive everglades restoration plan

president  bill  Clinton  helped  in  the pass of the  Comprehensive everglades  restoration  plan. 
      President  bill  Clinton   in  December 1  2000   signed   the  water  resources  development  act   which  authorizes   the   comprehensive   everglades  restoration  plan,  It  approved the  immediate   use  of  $  1,3  billion  for  implementation  to  be  split  by  the federal   government and   other  sources.

President Bill Clinton helped pass the comprehensive everglades restoration plan. The plan is for the purpose of restoring and protecting Florida's south central ecosystem of the everglades while improving flood protection and water supply. Estimates say it will take about 50 years to complete, and nearly 10 billion dollars to fund. This plan involves taking fresh water flowing into the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic, and directing it into regions of the everglades.
