Mass marketing occurs when the company doesn't target a particular segments but aims at marketing it product in such that it is able to reach a large number of people all at once.

Marketing refers to a strategy that a business uses to ensure that consumers are aware of their products, the reason we go and buy that cellphone or TV is because we have seen it on a commercial and this is how they market.

Now in mass marketing refers to that product which you have seen its logo a million times throughout the week either on commercial, billboard,as a sticker in a taxi,or in a big screen at the sport game. This product logo is everywhere you go or its product is visible almost everywhere , that you see it multiple times in a day or week. The aim is to reach various audience all at once in as much as the company can. This is what we call mass marketing.

Why is Mass Marketing Important?

The more customers a company can have the likely it is to succeed. To be able to let your product be know by as my customers as possible is beneficial this way. People need to know about the product for them to decided to purchase it.
