Your neighbor has been listening to recent debates and asks you about your thoughts about the minimum wage. right before you give your answer, he begins telling you about his philosophy. your neighbor believes that a set minimum wage is both illogical and hurtful to the people in lower wage jobs. by having a minimum wage you are saying that a large portion of the jobs that earn minimum wage are equal in value, which is improbable. also, having and/or raising the minimum wage will result in people losing their jobs. by increasing the expenses of small margin companies like restaurants, companies will have to lay off some workers to cover the costs. is your neighbor’s view on this best characterized as liberal of conservative? ?
