Jonas community practices control over everything and treat it as the same and they have been governed by the community rules. They have practise of separating the individuals during the ceremony of twelve and Release of the Elderly. In these two ceremonies one celebrated at a younger age and the other is celebrated at the time of death.

The ceremony of twelve is celebrated every year and it will depict the passage of adulthood. This ceremony will fall on the month December every year followed by the Ceremony of Elevens. Same as this they have ceremony for old age person, which is Release of the Elderly. They will do these releases on the special room.
