Aziz, Beatrice, and Charita are discussing the results of their experiment. Aziz claims that higher frequencies are always resonant on longer resonators. Beatrice claims that lower frequencies are resonant on longer resonators for string systems when both endpoints are fixed, but that Aziz is right for air-tube systems where one end is fixed and the other end has maximum oscillation. Charita isn't sure which of the other two is correct about standing waves but says that the one thing she learned was that changing the conditions of the oscillating material changes the wave speed. With whom do you agree? Explain your reasoning with references to your data and with any observations you make with the two wave systems or Boom-Wacker musical resonance tubes available in the lab.
