A national organization has been issued a permit to demonstrate at the State capitol building. An opposing group has threatened to turn out to disrupt the demonstration. Public safety officials are concerned that the demonstration may turn violent. What should they do

When a plan is created for the purpose of avoiding some events in future that are undesirable in nature or as a response to an undesirable event when it occurs refers to the contingency plans. These plans are useful for the business organisations for avoiding huge losses. They are also framed by governments when anything happens to be undesirable.

In the example given,an opposing group threatens in the disruption of the demonstration at the State capitol building. In this situation the best idea that can be followed by the organisation is the developing of the contingency plans for the purpose of addressing the violet situations.
