Prejudice can generally be described as showing unjustified or negative behavior towards other individuals. For example, thinking lower of other people on the basis of race, color or creed.

The harmful effects of prejudice can be reduced if parents of a child teach them from the beginning that every human being, irrespective of cast, color or creed are equal. Prejudice can be reduced if people of a country respect each other and set a positive example for other peoples. As humans, we tend to learn from other social beings.
