Blacks were more free than they had ever been in the north.

Blacks had never experienced more freedom, because they were slaves and looked down upon by whites.

They would fight their way to get to the north.

They would try, try, try and try harder until they made it.

Blacks were treated very unfairly in the South, so much so that when they went to North they never even had second thoughts about going back to the South.The North was where the were free. The North was where they were accepted no matter they're skin color. The blacks were very, veyr free in the North.
