I would pick the platform of the Democratic party because it has liberal ideas and I consider myself to have liberal ideas too. In opposition to the conservative ideas of the Republican Party, I support the rights of people such as women's rights or gay rights, or African American and immigrant rights. I think it is good for America to have labor unions that support better conditions for workers in the United States and the creation of social programs that benefit the poor and lower classes.
