A schema is referred  to as a cognitive framework  or a means tthat helps an individual in information  arrangement and interpretation.it helps use evaluate information by simpler and short means or method common to our environment.In Piaget's theory, a schema consist of knowledge itself  and the various means with which one can make use of this knowledge gotten.  

Assimilation in schema deals with how imbibe new information  the taking in of  that new information into our known bank of  knowledge.

Accommodation is  said to be when new information or experiences may cause an alteration of your known or existing schemas.
