As a member of a constitutional convention for a new county I would propose for a confederate form of government. With the presence of multiplied diverse groups, ethnicity, ideologies and geography, confederate form of government would be best suited for this new country.

A confederate form of government maintains state independence and sovereignty. The center would only act as a guardian to the independent states and each state would have its own discretion to its local governments and administrations.

It would also provide provisions for cooperation and exchange of resources in a more coordinated and efficient way without losing one's independence. In other words, the center will not dictate/interfere in the relations between states.

Thirdly, the growing potentiality of an authoritative government would not be present in a confederate form of government as the center would only have minimal powers.

Therefore, in order to maintain regional/state independence and sovereignty where each state would be accountable to its own government, confederate form of government would be best.
