Errol, aged 17, is about to graduate from high school, an achievement that may be taken for granted in some families but which is a first in his history of foster care familiies. He is delighted when he learns that once he has his high school diploma he will be able to get an entry level job in the field as a social service helping with clerical, scheduling and similar tasks. He won't be a full-fledged social worker, but he will be on his way.
