To improve resource use and management, the United States Government spent over a billion dollars to get "green projects" going. The "green projects" are supposed to help limit the amount of trash left outside of trash bins. The Government are trying to make the United States more ecologically friendly instead of the way it is now. So far, the "green projects" have failed due to finances. This has limited the process of having the United States be ecologically friendly.
